Please, please, please ... wherever you are right now ... take a moment and lift this child, Kate McRae, up to our Heavenly Father. Your prayers are most fervently needed.
For those who don't know, Kate is a local girl who has been battling brain cancer. She had been doing wonderfully and hopes were so high, but her PET scan yesterday came back positive for cancer. She is 7 years old.
This hits me close because one of my dearest cousins, Matthew, lost his life to brain cancer in his twenties. I still miss him, and it's been 5 years.
